ABOUT
Hands-on Physical Therapy and Injury Recovery was founded by Dr. Silem (Sal) Gomez-Gould, PT, DPT, COMT, CCI in an effort to improve the quality of care given to patients in need of physical therapy services. Dr. Sal found it nearly impossible to give patients what they needed in a traditional clinic setting because of declining insurance reimbursement rates and business models that require 2-3 patients to be seen at the same time. After five years of offering less than the best, he decided it was time to do something about it and so Hands-on Physical Therapy and Injury Recovery was founded to better serve you. This model allows for one-on-one care all the time which will help you get your life back faster. The business is locally owned out of Conroe, Texas and is ran by Dr. Gomez-Gould and his wife Rachel.

Mrs. Rachel Gomez-Gould, BS
CEO/Founder
Dr. Sal Gomez received his Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2015. Since then he has completed postdoctoral certifications and is a certified orthopedic manual therapist (COMT) and certified clinical instructor (CCI). He is currently completing post-doctoral Fellowship work in orthopedics and manual therapy. He speaks English and Spanish to better serve the diverse Texan population.
Chief Operations Officer
Rachel is Dr. Sal's wife and runs the day to day operations. She has several years of experience in the health and fitness industry. She received her Bachelor's in Food Science and Nutrition from Sam Houston State University in 2015. She is American Counsel on Exercise (ACE) certified and received training to become a certified recovery specialist.
